Tregonissey B cause upset as they beat leaders Bugle A
Tregonissey B really upset Bugle As applecart as they beat the league leaders by the odd frame Paul Baron, Geoff Merriman and Andrew Gooch won there frames to secure a great victory with Gary Spencer who knocked in a fine 49 break and Andrew Best replying.
Second placed Mevagissey A failed to take full advantage of Bugles slip up as they dropped 2 points to Bugle B who are in desperate need of points, Paul Williams Mark Ashton and Matt Chesterfield got Mevas frames with Colin Rundle and Keith Moore taking the away points which moves them off the bottom of the table.
Mevagissey D lost all 5 frames at Treggy A with Barrie Mcintosh having a 64 break against Ben Prynn along with victories for Martin Knight Rich Pearson Ryan Bilson and Jason Cocks which moves them right back in the hunt for some silverware.
Bethel A tend to struggle at Pelynt so were delighted to get a 3 2 win courtesy of wins for Leon Collard Matt Green who gave Dave Grose his first defeat of the season and Geoff Hawken with Richard Broad and Jason Hill replying.
Bethel D got a good win at home to Meva B to move farther away from the relegation zone as Jason Pascoe and Gavin and Dayle Dyche got wins with Nathan Shaw and Matt Rowe taking the visitors frames.
Bethel C have opened up a 2 point lead at the top of the Rees league after taking all 5 frames at Meva C and second placed Tregonissey D dropping 2 points at Bugle C with Mo Roscorla handing Mark Sullivan his first defeat of the season in a very low scoring frame Kev Spencer got the home sides other point with Keiron Clemes Steve Knight and Graham Taylor getting Treggys frames.
St Blazey got 4 good points at Gorran to jump up to third with Lee Mckinstrys walkover being the only
brightspot for the seasiders.
Lynn Kearns and Ryan Orchard got 2 points for Treggy C and along with a walkover for Natalie Rosevear
saw them secure a win over Lostwithiel who replied through Craig Nicholls and Darren Biggen
